Purposity app helps local students/families

First Lady Maria Lee’s Tennessee Serves challenge for service has moved some service challenges online through the smartphone app “Purposity.”

The first challenge focuses on meeting the needs of Tennessee students and families, including in Bledsoe County.

“We have Bledsoe County Schools listed on this app and if you would like to give back to your community and help our students you can donate to any specific need and the item is sent directly to the school and given to that student,” Nunley said. “We have many students who do not have access to coats, clothing, shoes, hygiene items, or school supplies.”
