Miss Frances celebrates 105

Miss Frances Swafford, Bledsoe County’s own Rosie the Riveter, gracefully turned 105-years-young on October 28. Bledsoe County’s oldest living resident celebrated her birthday with a party at Bledsoe County Nursing Home and tons of cards from those who call her family or friend.

The nursing home sought out 105 cards to celebrate her 105th, but she got even more than that, with at least 121 cards received wishing her well, according to staff.
