Fire department given supplies

Pikeville Volunteer Fire Department welcomed Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office (SFMO) and Department of Commerce and Insurance (TDCI) officials to its department on Wednesday, October 7.

TDCI Commissioner and State Fire Marshal Hodgen Mainda said the Department partnered with First Lady Maria Lee and her TN Serves initiative to give back to fire departments and other essential workers across the state.

While visiting the PVFD, Commissioner Mainda and members of the State Fire Marshal’s Office provided food and cleaning supplies to the department and thanked them for the service to the community.
