The reign is over, Bledsoe takes control of challenge trophy

On Friday night, September 25, the Bledsoe County High School Warrior football team took possession of Chief Roaring Eagle. They kept the Sequatchie County Indians scoreless to be victorious 35-0 before a sold out crowd. For the past seven years Sequatchie has maintained its hold on the challenge trophy sponsored by First Farmers and Commercial Bank (FFCB) in Pikeville and Mountain Valley Bank in Dunlap. FFCB Senior Vice President Wade Dodson (standing among the team, coaches and cheerleaders at right, center) was proud to present the trophy to the Warriors after the game. The shut out, puts Bledsoe County at 5-0 overall. Game report on page 5 of the October 1 issue of The Bledsonian Banner.
