Ruby Wooden Clark

Ruby Wooden Clark, 91, of Pikeville, Tennessee, went to sleep on Thursday evening, July 2, 2020 and woke up in Heaven.

She was born in Pikeville, to the late Eli and Buba Boring Wooden.

She was of the Baptist faith and last attended Community Baptist Church in Pikeville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Clark; and son, Jackie Clark; along with numerous siblings.

She is survived by her sons, Larry (Lenda) Clark of Hixson and Charles (Karen) Clark of Birchwood; grandchildren, Sherry (Chuck) Thompson of Hixson, Lenston Clark of Hixson, Kacy Clark of Birchwood, Jamie (Chris) King of Cleveland and Chad (Julie) Clark of Chattanooga; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Anna (James) Daggett of Chickamauga, Georgia; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Sunday, July 5, at 2:00 p.m. at Rigsby Cemetery officiated by James Daggett. The burial was in Rigsby Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tennessee State Special Olympics or Chattanooga Alhambra Shriners.
