12 apply for Director of Schools

Recommendations from the Tennessee School Board Association (TSBA) regarding the search for a new Bledsoe County Director of Schools will be heard by the Bledsoe County Board of Education on May 26. The Board will hear TSBA’s top three candidates, but will be able to select from beyond those three if necessary.

A total of 12 people applied for the position prior to the deadline on Friday, May 15, according to TSBA. Of those 12, four are from the Pikeville area or already involved in the school system.
