Three die in Brockdell house fire, TBI investigating

Three people died in a house fire on Brockdell Mountain in Bledsoe County on Tuesday night, April 7, according to Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Department Detective Angelo Oreto. The fire occurred at 118 Cagle Road in an older brick home.

Ova Lee Cagle, 91; Dennis “Denny” Roger Cagle, 63; and Anna “Suzie” Britt, 55, have been named those who passed away, according to Oreto.

Their bodies have been sent to Nashville for Autopsy and the fire is under investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Oreto added.

    It is May 19 Aunt Ova, still brokenhearted. I will miss our gatherings and gigglings at the kitchen table.
    You are now with your family in heaven. You always had a special place in my heart. You were like a second mother to me.
