Sherman indicted for attempted murder

An indictment was returned against a Pikeville man for Attempted First Degree Murder. His case was among several indicted by the Bledsoe County Grand Jury.

Garrett Sherman, 32, of Pikeville, was indicted for attempted first degree murder, aggravated assault, vandalism of $1,000 or less, and possession of a firearm while attempting a felony.

Sherman reportedly pulled up to a Spring Street residence in June, asked for a particular man, and then began shooting into a vehicle where the man was, as his wife stood nearby.
