Summer reading kicks off June 8

Bledsoe County Public Library’s summer program kicks off Thursday, June 8 at 2:00 p.m. with Joyce Carroll and friends at the library. Sign-up starts a week earlier, so drop by the library to pick up a book bag, some of our new books and get started. “Just for fun summer reading matter,” said Director Carolyne Knight, “keep your child’s brain sharp and active by having a reading activity for at least 20 minutes a day. Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you this summer.”

The library will close at 1:00 that day for set up and re-open around 3:00 for regular business. Call 447-2817 or email [email protected] for additional information. B21-22S22-23
