Judson Lawrence “Larry” Lewis
Judson Lawrence “Larry” Lewis, 86, of Pikeville, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Hospice Care Center.
He was a faithful Christian man. He was a member of the United Steel Workers of America 3967, he served in the U.S. Army, was a member of American Legion Post 66, and also VFW Post 5772. After retiring, he farmed for over 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue E. Lewis; great-granddaughter, Ava Smith; parents, Judd and Mae Lewis; sisters, Pat Cook and Peggy Johnson; and brother, Jerry “Bug Eyes” Lewis.
He is survived by his daughter, Vicki (David) Tate, Dunlap; two sons, Judson Alan (Kathy) Lewis, Soddy-Daisy, and Chris (Audria) Lewis, Dunlap; grandchildren, Garrett (Britt) Farley, Chelsea (Logan) Farley, Ariel (Tylor) Smith, Haley (Brandon) Ballard, and Brailey Lewis; great-grandchildren, Cannon Farley, Avah Ballard, Madalynn Smith, Asher Farley, Gradyn Farley, Charlie Farley, Aubree Smith, Boden Farley, Everly Ballard, and Jethro Smith; sister, Fay Harmon; brother, Claude (Linda) Lewis; several nieces and nephews; and two special sisters-in-law, Pat Jenkins, Dunlap, and Louise Bickford, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 15, in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Chris Lewis and Judson Lewis officiating. Burial was in Johnson-Lewis Cemetery.
