Kris Frady has officially announced his candidacy for Bledsoe County Mayor in the Republican May Primary.
“I have spent the past 18 years preparing Bledsoe County’s youth for the workforce as a welding instructor at Bledsoe County High School,” Frady. “Through this work, I have built strong partnerships with local industries and understand the growing need for skilled, trained, and educated workers.”
Frady said, “I am most proud of my faith, family, community, and strong Bledsoe County roots.”
A graduate of Bledsoe County High School, he continued his education at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, earning a degree in Business Management. He attended Tennessee Tech University, where he received his teaching certification in Career and Technical Education.
“My experience with dairy and beef farming ties me closely to the county’s agricultural heritage and gives me a practical understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing local farmers,” said Frady.
He believes his work managing multi-million-dollar accounts at Tecumseh Products demonstrated his ability in business management, financial oversight and organizational leadership.
“My background in agriculture, business, and education has given me a strong foundation to serve Bledsoe County. I am committed to promoting economic growth by supporting local industries, strengthening educational and career pathways and creating opportunities that build on our county’s unique strengths. I believe in sustainable development and working to ensure long-term prosperity for our community,” said Frady.
“I hope to earn your trust and the opportunity to serve as your Bledsoe County Mayor, working every day to put Bledsoe County residents at the forefront,” he added.
