Vernell Edmonds Lamb

Vernell Edmonds Lamb, 84, of Graysville, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 28th in her home.

She was a faithful church member. She was a devoted Registered Nurse for 40 years and loved caring for people. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and helping others.

She was preceded in death by her, husband, Lonnie Lamb; first husband, Nelson Keener; as well as her mother, Elvira Edmonds; and her father, Oscar Edmonds.

Surviving family are sons, Steve (Tara) Keener and Michael (Madeline) Keener; grandchildren, Sara Keener, Abigail Keener, Noah Keener and Lane Moore; sisters, Imogene Angel, Agnes Hendrick and Thelma Blaylock; brother, John Edmonds; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 2, at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Steve Keener officiating. Burial will be in Charlie J. Angel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 2, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CDT.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and nephews.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Hearth Hospice; particularly, Angie, Jess and Abby for their excellent care.
