Alfred Cooley

Alfred Cooley, 82, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

He was of the Church of Christ faith. He liked hunting, fishing, and arrowhead hunting. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita  Cooley; his parents, Luther and Letha Cooley; and brother, Jay Cooley.

He is survived by his son, Darby Ray Cooley of Pikeville; and sisters, Lillie Bryant and Iva Lee Davis.

Funeral services were held Sunday, January 11, at 2:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. T.A. Smith officiating. Burial was in Collier Cemetery. Visitation was held Saturday, January 10, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. CST and Sunday, January 11, from noon-2:00 p.m.
