BCHS becomes UT Flagship School
A record number of Bledsoe County High School students have applied to the University of Tennessee at Knoxville (UTK) thanks to the high school being named a Flagship school by the University. A celebration was held for those student applicants and the school was presented with a plaque commemorating BCHS being named a Flagship school.
Students can apply to UTK and receive full tuition through the Flagship Scholarship program, explained Dakota Hodges with the UT program. This makes higher education more affordable and accessible to students from all backgrounds, said Hodges.
