SVEC 2024 Youth Delegates go on tour of Washington D.C.

Seven high school students from the Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC) service area won the opportunity of a lifetime to spend a week in this nation’s capital as delegates of the 2024 Washington Youth Tour. Ella Boynton from Bledsoe County High School, Michael Kirby III from Grundy County High School, Nova McGill from Marion County High School, Hope Woodfin from Richard Hardy Memorial School, Brylee Dishman from Sequatchie County High School, Scarlett Mangrum from South Pittsburg High School, and Kasie Britton from Whitwell High School were among 139 delegates from across Tennessee on the week-long trip that began on Friday, June 14.
