County Commissioners refuse School System’s proposed budget amendments
Budget amendments usually get approved without question by Bledsoe County Commissioners, however Monday evening, April 15, it went differently for the School System. With a nine to three vote, Commissioners voted down the School System’s proposed budget amendments previously approved by the School Board.
The School System had submitted nine budget amendments for approval, which means moving money around in the budget from one line item to another while staying within the system’s budget.
