Locker room and concession stand for softball built

TCAT saves School System thousands in labor cost

It’s been many years in the making, but the Lady Warriors finally have a locker room, restrooms, and concession stand at their softball field behind Bledsoe County Middle School.

TCAT Crossville was instrumental in the construction process, saving the School System and County an estimated $40,000-plus in labor costs, reports Maintenance Supervisor Brian Turner. TCAT students provided masons and electricians for the project at no cost, he said, while the School System had to provide the materials. Their free labor saved the county a lot of money, added Turner.
