SHOP LOCAL — Find unique, fantastic Christmas gift ideas at home
When you shop local, you are investing in your community. That’s why this Christmas efforts are being made to encourage everyone to shop at home instead of out of town or online. Pikeville is blessed with lots of places that offer unique gift ideas!
The Bledsonian-Banner and Crye-Leike Brown 1st Choice Realty and Auction, and Walker Land & Auction Services have partnered to promote shopping at home. Each week some gift ideas purchased at local retail shops will be featured in advertisements in the newspaper, explained Publisher Sandy Dodson.
Those gifts and gift cards will be placed in a Christmas Box, valued at over $500, and names will be drawn for each gift to be given away on December 15 by Crye-Leike Brown 1st Choice Realty and Auction, Walker Land & Auction Services, and The Bledsonian-Banner. You can register at the red Christmas Box located in Pikeville retail stores. No purchase is necessary but everyone is encouraged to shop at these businesses during the holiday season and throughout the year.
