Jeremiah Swafford, 41, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Tuesday, September 6, 2023.

He was of the Baptist faith. He was a blacksmith and trained horses. He was a loving father and son.  He loved his children.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Lottie Swafford; and grandfather, Buck Swafford.

He is survived by his children, Callie Swafford of Dunlap and Hunter Keith Swafford of Whitwell; parents, Ray and Polly Angel of Pikeville, and Mike Swafford of Dayton; sister, Chasity Swafford of Graysville; grandparents, John and Catherine Simmons of Pikeville; aunts, Annette (Robert) Swafford of Pikeville, Tina Simmons of Florida, and Carol Dodson of Crossville; uncle, Tim Simmons of Pikeville; niece, Raven (Justin) Rankin; and nephews, Eli Swafford and Mikey Simmons.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 9, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rick Dixon officiating. Burial was in Simmons Cemetery.
