Nellie J. Cripps, 86 of Pikeville, Tennessee passed away Friday, June 9, 2023.

Nellie loved her family, gardening, animals, enjoyed cooking, where she was self-employed working in her restaurant.

Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Lee and Martha Jane Wyatt Crawford; husbands, James S. Cripps and Claude Franklin Brown; brother, Everett Crawford; and grandchild, Stacy Cripps.

Nellie is survived by her sons, Michael E.(Linda) Cripps, L.C. (Sharon) Cripps; daughters, Janie (Lee) Shannon, Tresea Cripps (Jeff C.) Ladd; grandchildren, Michael (Maggie) Cripps, Rachel Cripps, Brett (Amy) Cripps, Nellie (Rodney) Smith, Buffy (David) Gaither, Billie J. Campbell, James (Yolanda) Caldwell; numerous great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, at West End Church of God with Bro. Danny Lee officiating. The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
