Sheriff releases name of body found
On March 18, the body of a man was found in the Luminary community of Bledsoe County. Sheriff Jimmy Morris has released the name of the man as James Michael Cook, who originally was from this area, but had most recently lived in Knox County.
At the time the body was found, authorities did not release the man’s name.
Other details surrounding the incident could not be released, said Sheriff Morris, pending further investigation and complete autopsy results.
This is an ongoing investigation, said Sheriff Morris, and anyone with information is asked to contact Sheriff’s Department Detective Drake Brown at (423) 447-2197.
