Elvalene Shannon

Elvalene Shannon, 77, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Thursday, February 24, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Shannon; parents, Henry Raymond and Maymie Gifford; siblings, Rowena, Judith Ann, Marietta, Thelma, Charles, Junior and Edgar.

She is survived by her daughters, Tina (Tommy) Patton of Soddy Daisy, and Tracie (Katrina) Denton of Rossville, Georgia; grandchildren, Tiffany (Josh) Barbree, Brandon (Patricia) Reed, Jake (Brianna) Shaffner, Logan Bayless and Loren (Luke) Marsh; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Clark and Alvalene Holland, both of Pikeville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 2, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery.
