Man killed, four teens injured in crash near Bledsoe/Van Buren line

A 24-year-old Evensville man was killed and four teenagers injured in a crash on Groves Road just across the Bledsoe County line in Van Buren County on Tuesday afternoon, May 25, according to Tennessee Highway Patrol Sgt. Kent Norris. 

Front passenger Jessee Evitt was ejected and killed, stated the report, and he was the only one not wearing a seatbelt. 

The driver was a 16-year-old juvenile from Pikeville. Other passengers were a 15-year-old from Evensville, 14-year-old from Pikeville, and 19-year-old Dekoda Bailey from Tampa, Florida. Their conditions were not yet known.
