School Dismissing at 12:30 today
Due to the serious weather threat today, March 25, Bledsoe County Schools will dismiss at 12:30 p.m.
Local residents are encouraged to remain aware of the storms approaching.
Everyone is encouraged to have some way to receive weather alerts from the National Weather Service today and tonight. Heavy rain is expected off and on all day. Later this afternoon and tonight, there will be a good chance of thunder storms with more heavy rain, high winds, and a good chance of tornadoes in the area.
Today
Showers before noon, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm between noon and 4pm, then showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Some of the storms could be severe. Patchy fog before 10am. High near 70. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
Tonight
Showers and thunderstorms before 2am, then a chance of showers between 2am and 3am. Some of the storms could be severe. Low around 52. South wind 10 to 15 mph becoming west after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 73. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
