Man dies in custody, body sent for autopsy
A Pikeville man died in transport to Erlanger Sequatchie Emergency Department after being bitten on the leg by Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Orton on Sunday night, January 31, according to an offense report provided by the department.
The official cause of death of Chad W. Songer, 51, of Pikeville has not yet been released as authorities await autopsy results, according to Sheriff Jimmy Morris. The investigation has been turned over to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, noted the Sheriff.

I agree with you Serina.. he does deserve justice..
JUSTICE FOR CHAD!!! And officers that were heartless and cruel enough to handle things in horrible way don’t deserve and shouldn’t have a badge or job in this position ever again. Let them out on foot and a dog snapping at their heels see how that alone feels much less attack!! SHAME!!!
