Christopher Sanders Self

Christopher Sanders Self, 59, of Dayton, Tennessee died October 12, 2020.

Chris loved spending time with his family, enjoyed singing, playing the guitar, piano, and writing songs. When not working, he enjoyed Deer hunting, fishing, riding horses, and cooking. He was a manufacture supervisor at M & M Industry in Chattanooga, had served four years in the United States Army, and attended Summer City Church of God.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 17 years, Kandi Michaels Self; mother and stepfather, Aleene Gilmer and Ken Broome; son, Cody Sanders (Michelle) Self; daughters, Maggie Swafford, Christa (Trent) Hankins, Patty (Shane) Pendergrass, Mandy (Aaron) Edwards; grandchildren, Jace, Christian, Aedyn, Katelyn, Hailee, Tyler, Emilee, Macy, Natalee, Liberty, Lilly, Ryder, Eli, Maverick, Maddox, Griffin, Alex; sister, Cindy (Mark) Hardin; brother, Jody (Jan) Self; step-brothers, Gary (Dede) Frost, Darrell (Dee Dee) Frost; step-sister, Rebekah Broome; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends whom he loved very much.

A Celebration of Life was held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 15, in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Donnie Lawson officiating. Burial followed in the Rigsby Cemetery.
