Face masks not required

Bledsoe County Mayor Gregg Ridley will not require citizens to wear masks despite Governor Bill Lee giving mayors around the state the authority to do so.

Ridley said he believes the wearing of face masks is effective in stopping the spread of COVID-19 and is a responsible choice during the pandemic. He encourages everyone to wear a mask, but will not issue a mandatory wearing of masks at this time.
