Board votes against approving Director of Schools contract

The Bledsoe County Board of Education will have to begin the search for a new Director of Schools if Board members who voted against approving a two-year renewal for Director Jennifer Terry do not come up with an alternative proposal before her contract expires on June 30.

Board Members Jacob Frady, Carolyn Oakes, Bron Reece and Don Snow voted against approving the contract, while Chairman Vincent Boring and members Andy Billingsley and Stacy Farmer voted to approve the contract at a Special Called meeting on Monday, March 30.
