Leslie Pleasent Hickey

Bro. Leslie Pleasent Hickey, 92, of Pikeville, went home to Jesus Tuesday, April 16, 2019.

Other than his ministry, his favorite hobby was working, and he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Leslie was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Maxine Hickey; parents, Elijah Joshua and Hautie Caroline Foster Hickey; brothers, Iron, Claude, Paul, and Clay Hickey; sister, Lola Lowe; grandson-in-law, Marty Mooneyham.

Survivors include his son, Terry (Fadonna) Hickey; daughters, Linda Singleton (Robbie), Rhonda (Gene) Dodson, Karen Hickey (Ron), Margie Hankins (Jimmy), Charlotte (Tim) Hart; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jean Johnson; huge church family, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A celebration of life was held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Bill Montandon and Bro. Dennis Deweese officiating. Burial was in Blankenship Cemetery.
