Josie Mae Rainey

Josie Mae Rainey, 81, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Memorial Hospital. She was of the Church of God faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Rainey; parents, Charles and Neva Webb; grandchildren, Dennis and Marcella Sullivan and Clayton Wayne Hankins; and brothers, James, Charles and Tom Webb.

She is survived by her children, Calvin (Karen) Hankins of Spencer, Evalene Summers of Dunlap, Johnny Ray (Patty) Hankins of Pikeville, Annette (Terry) Johnson of Pikeville, Cathy (Darrell) Moffitt of Spencer, Elaine (Wayne) Underwood of Pikeville, and Harold Rainey of Pikeville; grandchildren, Jason and Calvin Lynn Hankins, Lacy Clendenen, Tonya Herron, Renea Cunningham, Chandler Hankins, John and Josh Johnson, Zachary and Ethan Underwood, Leah Johnson, Kadie Buck and Lauren Miller; 27 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-great grandchild; sisters, Joyce Prater of Spencer, Wilma Webb of Spencer, and Nancy Holloway, Pikeville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 6, at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro.  David Rogers officiating. Burial was in Rainey Dill Cemetery.
