City zoning laws pass first reading

The first reading of new land use and zoning regulations for the City of Pikeville were read at the meeting of Mayor and Aldermen on Monday, May 14.

The new zoning and regulations may regulate land use, enact structural regulations, and promote development guidelines within city limits, according to the ordinance documents provided by the city.
