Rogers body found, Sullivan charged with criminal homicide

     Thomas Rogers, 30, of Pikeville, was found dead on Valley View Road Tuesday evening, April 24, Bledsoe County Sheriff Jimmy Morris confirmed.

     Morris said Rogers’ body was found by Deputy Jack Durham. The investigation started out as a missing persons case last week, before quickly turning into a homicide investigation, he added.

     NaKayla Sullivan has been arrested in connection with the investigation and charged with Criminal Homicide, Morris stated. The investigation continues with two additional suspects being interviewed.

     Rogers’ body has been sent to Nashville, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and 12th District Attorney General’s Office are assisting in the investigation.
