Barbara Ross Watts, 83, of Addison, Illinois, formerly of Pikeville, died February 18, 2017.
She was a graduate of Bledsoe County High School, loved sewing and yard work. She worked in a factory for “Stewart Warner” as a core winder for 35 years.
Preceding Barbara in death were her husband, Donald Watts; son, William Roger Watts Sr.; sisters, Mildred Walker and Dorothy Ladd; and brother, John Nolen Walker.
Left to cherish Barbara’s memories are her daughter Beverly (Richard) Hitchcock of Illinois; grandchildren, William Watts Jr. and Jason Watts; great-grandchildren Beranda Watts and William Watts III; sister, Shirley (Winfred) Simmons of Pikeville; brothers, Glenn (Thelma) Walker of Dunlap, and Morris Walker of Crossville; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
A celebration of life will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 24 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Blackburn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23.
