Jamie Elizabeth (Simmons) Dunn
Jamie Elizabeth Dunn, 82, of Pikeville passed away on December 2, 2014.
She was of the Baptist faith and attended Calvary FWB Church. She enjoyed bird watching, flowers, and gardening. She was a devoted wife and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelma Dunn; three brothers, James, Joe, and Arlis Simmons; and one grandchild, Katrina Manner; and her parents, Sherman and Irene (Moore) Simmons.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Charles (Frances) Dunn and Mackey (Robyn) Dunn, both of Pikeville, Rita Snyder, Chattanooga, and Charlotte (Bill) Austin, Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Sabrina (Rob) Hayes, Kimberley Sue Dunn, Eric Dunn, William C. Austin II, Keshia (John) Richardson, and Nellie (Rodney) Smith; great-grandchildren, Brian Hayes, Jacealyn Emory Dunn, Seth, Logan, Gabby and Sam Richardson, and LeeAnne, Tony, and Evan Smith; great-great granddaughter, Harper Marie Hayes; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Jamie’s Life was held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, December 6, with Pastor Phillip Luna officiating. Burial was in the Blackburn Cemetery.
