Ruth Elizabeth Cunningham Angel

Ruth Elizabeth Cunningham Angel, 93, of McMinnville, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at her home after a brief illness.

She was born July 29, 1920 to the late John and Bell Cunningham of Bledsoe County.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Lee Angel of 71 years.

Survivors include daughters Elizabeth (Elijah) Poore, McMinnville, Dorothy Ann Sanders, Connecticut, and Rachel (Paul) McCormic, Debrell; son Johnny Lee (Laura) Angel, Sr., Munford; 11 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive family and friends Thursday, March 20, 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Friday, 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and Saturday morning until service time, 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Blackburn Cemetery.
