Chester James Achee
Chester James Achee, Jr., 60, of Lilburn, Georgia, passed away on November 16, 2013 after a hard fought battle with cancer.
Chet, as he was called, was a Hearing Examiner for the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles for 24 years. He graduated from Lee High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and went to college and earned his BS from Louisiana State University. He was of the Catholic faith and attended St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Lilburn, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by Chester James Achee, Sr. (father); Marie Englade Achee (mother); Thomas Bartell Achee (brother); Timothy Paul Achee (brother); and Valerie Newsom Achee (sister-in-law).
Chet is survived by A. Thomas Achee (son); Laura M. Achee (daughter); Macallynn Achee (brother); Sherry Achee Wascom (sister) and her husband Bob Wasom; Jennifer Achee Maloney (sister) and her husband Ken Maloney.
A memorial service will be held at Tom Wages Funeral Home in Snellville, Georgia on November 27 at 11:00 a.m.
