Judy Tucker

Judy Tucker, 71, of Pikeville died on Saturday April 27, 2013.

She was of the Church of God Faith. She was a member of the Lighthouse Full Gospel Church. Judy’s favorite pastime was to work puzzle books and play with her great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Tucker; parents, Henry Raymond and Mayme Nodelia Gifford; brothers, Charles Thomas Gifford and Henry Raymond Gifford, Jr.; a sister, Margie Rowena Gifford; and a granddaughter, Christy Lynn Martin.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Donna Roame and Sharon (Larry) Burks; a brother, Edgar Lee (Jean) Gifford; sisters, Thelma Hitchcox, Linda Clark, Alvalene Holland, Elvalene Shannon, and Marietta London; grandchildren, Bobby Lynn Smith, Jr. and Amanda Ann Smith; great-grandchildren, Bobby Jacob Lynn Smith, Logan Lee Jordan Smith, Dallas James Gregory Smith, Bradley Ryan Smith, Mason Christopher Gregory Smith, and Shane Donovan Smith; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

A celebration of Judy’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on April 30 with Rev. Gary Johnson officiating. Burial was in the McDowell Cemetery.
