Support group for women with prodigal children

“A Mothers Heart,” a support group for mothers, grandmothers and aunts of prodigal children is held on the first and third Monday of each month from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Lab, 366 Cleveland Avenue, Pikeville. This group is a confidential, non-judgmental place to give mothers, grandmothers, sisters and aunts the hope, comfort and encouragement to help heal the broken hearts of moms whose children are abusing alcohol, or drugs (or any other addiction); have been experiencing self- abuse behaviors i.e. eating disorders, cutting, etc.; experience with Gender identity; struggles with mental illness; or are or have been estranged from the family and/or their faith.
