Join the City of Pikeville in a “Celebration of History, Service and Honor,” the theme for its Fourth of July event and America’s 250th birthday. Planned are a parade, music, car show, and fireworks!
Start the morning off at the Pikeville Farmers Market. Shop the homegrown, homemade items by Bledsoe County folks.
Trunk and Treasure is also held in the morning. You can fill your car trunk or truck with items to sell to shoppers.
At 1:00 p.m., anyone planning to walk or ride a float in the parade needs to meet at the parking lot of the Pikeville Municipal Building. The theme is History, Service and Honor.
Then at 2:00 p.m. the parade will travel northward, along Main Street and through downtown.
Beginning at 4:00 p.m., the monthly Summer Series cruise-in starts.
At 5:00 p.m. on the Main Street Stage, Good Rockin’ Tonight will be providing the musical entertainment.
As the day winds down, the festivities move to the Bledsoe County Fairgrounds where games and fun are planned.
Around 9:00 p.m., the night sky will exploded with brilliant colors as the fireworks show is held.
All the events planned for the day are family-friendly and everyone is welcome to take part in the celebration.
