Authorities investigating shooting

A shooting of a person in a wooded area of Holly Drive in Bledsoe County is being investigated by the Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Department, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency.

At no point was there any threat to the community and the incident has been contained. The reported shooting occurred Thursday, October 30.

The investigation remains ongoing and additional information will be released as it comes available, reports the Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Department.
