School Board interviewing director candidates July 17

Interviews for a new Director of Schools are being held Thursday, July 17 at 5:00 p.m. at Bledsoe County Middle School. Four of six candidates who applied are being considered to fill the vacancy left by former director, Selina Sparkman, who left the school district to accept a position in West Tennessee, closer to her family.

The six individuals who applied were Dr. Greg Harwood, Dr. Kristy Walker, Marvin Baker, Bridgett Loyd, Johnny Harrision, and Christopher Jones. Of the six, Harrison and Jones have been eliminated from the process.
