Courtney Rachel Shania Summers

Courtney Rachel Shania Summers, 27, of Pikeville, Tennessee passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024.

Courtney attended Sequatchie Valley Church of Christ, and was a 2015 graduate of Bledsoe County High School. She worked as a bartender at Bankwalker Brewing Company. Courtney loved her son and family, liked all animals, and also enjoyed hunting and collecting rocks, fossils, and crystals.

Courtney was preceded in death by her grandmother, Essie Mae Keener; great-grandfather, Mack Summers; cousins, Kerry Summer Angel, Spencer Whelan, and Hailey Brooks; great-aunts, Mary Summers and Elizabeth Summers.

Left behind to cherish Courtney’s memory are her son, Elias Kai Simms; mother and step-dad, Amanda Summers (Jamie) Williams; brother, Kevin Braden Good; sister, Amber Paige Summers (Harley Reges); step-brothers, Thomas and Peyton Williams; step-sister, Adriann Williams; grandmother, Kathy Ann Summers; aunt, Tonya (Chris) Brooks; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A celebration of life was held at 1:00 p.m. CDT Monday, September 16, in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Eb Neeley officiating. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Pikeville Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
