    Clothes Closet open

    On Saturday, January 18, Winesap Free Will Baptist Church will open its clothes closet from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The clothes closet will be open every fi rst and third Saturday of each month until further notice. Anyone needing clothes or who knows someone who does can come by at this time. The church will have nice clothes for work, play and dress of all sizes at no charge. The church is located on Lantana Road (Hwy. 101) at the Bledsoe-Cumberland county line.     Free gentle yoga at Senior Center

    Come enjoy a free gentle yoga class at the Bledsoe County Senior Center on Frazier Street in Pikeville. Susan Wolfson is the instructor for the classes being held each Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30 a.m. beginning January 21. This is a chair exercise program for anyone whose physical activity is limited due to age, disability, recovery from substance abuse or any chronic conditions.     New events at Fall Creek Falls

    Fall Creek Falls State Park announces its new traditional arts event series called the Mountaineer Folk Art Project! The project incorporates the Mountaineer Folk Festival and Christmas on the Mountain, and features a series of traditional arts classes provided at low cost to the public with support and funding from the Friends of Fall Creek Falls State Park and the Tennessee Arts Commission. Inaugural year classes begin in February and focus on fiber arts; including Introductory Spinning, Basic Knitting, Wet Felting, and Needle Felting.
