    Library to hold summer reading

    All day
    Jun-12-19-Jul-24-19

This Bledsoe County Public Library’s summer reading program, A Universe of Stories, kicks off on Thursday, June 6 at 1:00 p.m. at the library with Joyce Carroll and Friends. To complete the program children must read or listen to at least 10 books during the summer. Sign up any time and avoid the dreaded “summer slump.” As a special incentive to getting started, Kathie Britt is doing a Story Hour each Wednesday beginning June 12 at 1:00 p.m. and continue through July 24.

The library will close at noon on June 6, the day of the kickoff, and reopen around 3:00 p.m. for regular library business. A special party, to be announced later, is being planned for those children who complete the summer reading program. Library hours are Monday-Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Call 447-2817 or email cknightbcpl@bledsoe.net for more information.
