    Pond management day planned

    On Thursday, November 1, a Bledsoe and Sequatchie County Pond Management Field Day is being held at Perry Swafford’s Farm, near 6868 Lower East Valley Road, Pikeville (0.4 miles north of College Station Road. Aquatic Weed Management, Fish Sampling Demonstration and Stocking Rates, Pond Sealing Options, and Conservation Programs are the topics to be discussed. A meal is provided and door prizes are available at this free event. For directions or more information call the UT Extension Bledsoe County Office at (423) 447-2451.     A representative with Legal Aid of East Tennessee (LAET) is going to be at the Bledsoe County Courthouse on Thursday, November 1 beginning at 11:00 a.m. If you have legal problems with housing/mortgage/foreclosure, consumer, health/benefits/food stamps, family, unemployment or senior, and qualify for free legal assistance, you can apply for help.
