    Country Music Night at Walden’s Ridge

    Walden’s Ridge Community Center presents Country Music Night on Friday, September 14 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Admission is $5 per person at the door with children under six admitted free. The center is located at 5364 Dayton Mountain Highway. Everyone is welcome to come enjoy music, food and family friendly entertainment. Concessions provided by Kiuka Fire Department. All proceeds benefit the center and the fire department.BS37

    Autumn Leaf Festival & Cruise In September 14-15

    Lake Tansi Village is holding its annual Autumn Leaf Festival & Cruise In on Friday and Saturday, September 14-15 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. Over 90 artists and crafters, food vendors, the Vietnam Veterans of Crossville, the Sons of the Confederate Veterans Mechanized Calvary, and live music from noon to 2:00 p.m. A pancake breakfast is Saturday at Lake Tansi Village Church from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. The Cruise In is from noon to 4:00 p.m. There is a KidZone for the kids at the Lake Tansi Village Recreation Center. Wheelchair and power chair accessible. Free admission.BS37

    Breakfast at Mt. Crest Fire Hall on September 15

    Mt. Crest Volunteer Fire Department is holding its monthly breakfast on Saturday, September 15 from 6:00 to 10:00 a.m. The fire department will be open Friday, September 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to accept donations. All proceeds raised go to the upkeep of the fire hall, gas, equipment they use during a fire or setting up for helicopter landings The fire department appreciates your patronage and all proceeds help the department.BS37
