    Homecoming and revival planned

    New Hope The Baptist invites you to its annual Homecoming and Revival on Sunday, July 15. Homecoming services start at 10:00 a.m. with Elders Eric Wood and Roger Pennycuff preaching. Lunch is being served after the service. Revival begins July 15 with Elders Christopher Boggs and Burl Rice preaching during the week.     Lewis family reunion at Fall Creek Falls State Park

    Descendents of Will, Mark, Pick and Dick Lewis are gathering the third Sunday of July on the 15th at 11:00 a.m. for a family reunion at Fall Creek Falls State Park, shelter number one in front of the Nature Center. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish, pictures, stories to share, also those blessed with talents to play instruments and sing are encouraged to do so.     A benefit dinner and sweet auction are being held Friday, July 20 at the Bledsoe County Fairgrounds to help Ben Harwood with medical expenses. Dine in or carry out available for plates of spaghetti, salad, drink and dessert for $7 beginning at 4:30 p.m. Auction begins at 7:00 p.m., selling all kinds of desserts. Cornhole tournament starts at 6:00 p.m. with a $10 entry fee per team, prizes awarded. Kids’ baseball and basketball games are $1 entry fee.
