    The public is invited to come hear about the Cherokee Indians at Red Clay Council Grounds hosted by the Bledsoe County Historical and Genealogical Society on Thursday, September 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bledsoe County Public Library. Erin Medley, manager of Red Clay State Historic Park is the guest speaker. The program is free, the Society asked only that you be seated by 6:30 p.m. in order to not disturb the lecture.BS37

    A huge multi-family indoor yard sale is being held September 13 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and September 14 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Pikeville SDA Church Fellowship Hall, 52 Cumberland Avenue, Pikeville. Antiques, old school desks, household items, clothes, toy books, furniture and more. Proceeds benefit the church. BS37
