On February 3, the Pikeville Bass Club is meeting at 6:00 p.m. at Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative in Pikeville. Anyone interested in signing up and fishing the 2017 season can do so at the meeting. The membership fee is $25 and entry fee is $40 per boat. A benefit is being held for Tony and Iva Dotson, who lost everything in a house fire in December. On Saturday, February 4 Winesap Free Will Baptist Church will open its clothes closet from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The clothes closet will be open every first and third Saturday of each month until further notice. Anyone needing clothes or who knows someone who does can come by at this time.
