Everett Pendergrass, Sr.

Everett Pendergrass, Sr., age 82, of Knox County, Tennessee, died Sunday, June 7, 2026, at his home.

He was a member of Maynardville Church of Christ. He was a shoe repairman for 65 years and owned Pendergrass Family Shoe Repair for 60 years.

Preceding him in death were his son, Everett Pendergrass, Jr.; parents, John Herman and Betty Pendergrass; siblings, Lois, Flossie, Lenora, Claude, Cilvester, Lorene, Blake, Shirley, Claudine and Ellen; and brother-in-law, Mitchell DeBord.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Judy Pendergrass of Knox County, Tennessee; children, Betty Lynn (Joe) Brown of Corryton, Tennessee, Tina (William) Seminerio of Georgetown, Texas and John Herman (Pam) Pendergrass of Powell, Tennessee; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jack (Jean) Pendergrass of Pikeville, Mary Frances (David) Clemons of Hendersonville and Jewell (Randy) Boyce of Lebanon; daughter-in-law Rose; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 13, at 10:00 a.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Minister Jason Barger officiating. Burial will be in Hale Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, June 12, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. CDT.
